Created by Chrissie Pearce, this course reflects years of hands-on salon experience and meticulously written manuals. Every element has been designed to be intense, thorough, and practical, giving students the skills, confidence, and knowledge to work with any gel system.

This course is accredited and skill-led, designed to give you practical, transferable knowledge. All essential theory is completed online in our state-of-the-art learning portal before the practical day, allowing you to make the most of your time in the classroom. On the full-day practical session, you will focus entirely on working with the systems, mastering how gels function, how to apply them safely, and how to create long-lasting, flawless results..

What You Will Learn

All theory modules are completed online prior to attending, allowing you to learn in your own time. Practical days are fully hands-on and focused on skill development. The course is only passed following successful assessment on live models.

Before you even pick up a gel, you’ll learn the essential skills every professional nail technician needs. You’ll discover how to prepare nails thoroughly, hold your client comfortably, and use nail files and tools with precision. We cover everything from health, safety, and hygiene, to professional working practices, shaping, and finish filing so your nails always look flawless.

You’ll pick up tips and tricks for creating perfect shapes, controlling product application, managing cuticles, and balancing nails for that salon-quality finish. You’ll also gain a clear understanding of nail anatomy, maintaining nail health, and troubleshooting common issues — everything you need to feel confident and professional from the very first day.

By mastering these foundational skills, you’ll be fully prepared to move on to working with gels, giving you the confidence to create beautiful, long-lasting nails using Gel polish Builder Gel or Builder in Bottles.

Gel Polish:

• Base coats, top coats, and colour application techniques
• Soak-off techniques and safe removal and explanation of Gel Polish
• Maintenance/rebalancing.
• Application over natural nails and Colours over Builder Gel
• Troubleshooting, product knowledge. 

Builder Gel (BOB Brush on Builder):

• Builder Gel over natural nail/overlays
• Sculpting, building, and working with clear and cover pink gels
• Hand Painted French nails*,
• Safe removal of builder gelWhen and how to use soak-off gel, builder gel, or gel polish in professional treatments
• Hands-on demonstrations with CJP products, and guidance for home practice using your own kit

*French nails are covered once on builder gel to teach proper technique for both systems efficiently.

Combined Systems – Intensive One-Day Training

This course is intense and highly practical, covering the fundamentals of two systems in one day. By combining gel polish and builder gel training, we ensure that core techniques like, nail prep, and shaping, what gels to use when and where, how to maintain or remove them, are taught primarily.

Once the course is complete, students are encouraged to attend a Skill-Building Day to perfect advanced techniques such as:

• Creating flawless French nails
• Encapsulating glitter and media
• Performing more intricate gel polish and builder gel art
• Babyboomers/Ombre
• Efiling to aid in flawless prep and maintain Gel Enhancements

This ensures students continue to refine their skills and progress from competent beginners to confident, professional nail technicians.

Course Structure & Requirements

• Full-day intensive practical training – approximately 8 hours of hands-on learning

9am - 6pm- please bring lunch, or there are nearby shops -( TR153RU). Tea/Coffee/ Refreshments provided throughout the day.

• Small class size, ensuring personal guidance from your educator
• Products provided during the day; bringing your own kit is highly recommended for practice and continued learning
• Models welcome, or you may practice on yourself*
• All theory completed online prior to the practical day, allowing you to focus fully on hands-on skill
• Home practice kit strongly recommended to reinforce your learning and build confidence

*If you practice on yourself during the training day, you will be required to submit assessments and complete home practice on real models to meet qualification requirements

Once a course date has been selected and checkout completed, all payments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in exceptional circumstances.

Enrolment into the online theory portal constitutes the official start of your course. Once access to theory materials has been granted, refunds cannot be issued if you later decide not to attend the practical training dates.
