About Chrissie Pearce
Why Train With Me
With nearly 18 years in the nail industry and over 13 years of professional teaching, I, Chrissie Pearce, bring a unique combination of hands-on salon expertise, high-level education experience, and a passion for sharing knowledge. What sets my courses apart is that I still do client nails every single day. I firmly believe that you cannot teach what you don’t actively practice. This ensures that the techniques, tips, and workflows I teach are salon-ready, ever changing but up to date, realistic, and reflect the highest professional standards.
My Journey
My career started far from nails, in surface finishing on superyachts, where I developed precision, patience, and extreme attention to detail — skills that translate perfectly to nail artistry. A serious back injury during this apprenticeship meant I needed a new career path, and in 2008, I discovered nails. It was a perfect fit: a career that allowed me to sit, create, and apply technical skill. From that moment, I was hooked, and I’ve never looked back.
Since then, I’ve:
- Opened and operated my own successful salons
- Trained nail technicians both nationally and internationally
- Ghost-written nail education books for companies across the world
- Developed meticulous, in-depth training programs that have transformed careers
- Developed products that align with my skill set and techniques
- Continue to mentor other Educators, help them on their career paths and improve their teaching skills
- Continue to Head the Education for CJP Nail Systems
- Created a Drill bit distribution Company in 2012 that still continues to sell wholesale and online, whilst developing custom efile /drill bits that align with my teaching methods.
I’ve spent years refining what it truly takes to achieve salon-perfect nails efficiently — sharing techniques that can only be learned through performing thousands of sets on real clients, in real salon conditions. While I am fully capable of creating intricate nail art, detailed characters and advanced designs, my philosophy has always been clear: exceptional nail work begins with flawless salon nails and perfect structure.
At the core of my teaching is the belief that nails are not just an art form, but a career. Sustainable success comes from mastering nails that clients trust, love and return for consistently. Art may attract attention, but structure, retention and longevity are what build a reputation and a profitable business.
I work on real salon clients six days a week, and over the last year I have had just one nail repair return. That level of retention is not down to trends or shortcuts — it is the result of correct preparation, impeccable structure and an uncompromising eye for detail in every finished set.
Beautiful nails matter. But nails that last are what build a thriving career.

Teaching Philosophy
I understand the struggles of imposter syndrome and the pursuit of perfection. Everything I teach is designed to build confidence, competence, and mastery, while being intense, structured, and precise. My courses are not about shortcuts; they are about deep understanding. I teach systems, structure, and technique, so you can reproduce flawless results regardless of brand.
My manuals are unmatched in the industry — some over 200 pages long, covering every aspect of nails from fundamentals to advanced troubleshooting, incorporating every tip and trick I wish I had as a beginner. Students consistently say they’ve never seen training like this before, because it is intensive, thorough, and entirely practical.
I believe learning nails is more than just copying steps; it’s about understanding why things work, how products behave, and how to adapt techniques for every client. This depth of understanding is what makes my students stand out in salons and gives them the confidence to grow their careers.
If you have trained with me before, you will know that my education is meticulous, immersive and uncompromising in its standards. What defines my teaching, however, is that it is never static. I am continually learning, refining and elevating my own work — which means I am not doing nails the way I was a year ago. I am doing them better.
This commitment to growth directly shapes my courses. Every programme I offer evolves in line with the latest techniques, improved methods and modern salon expectations, ensuring that the education you receive is always current, relevant and rooted in excellence. If you have already trained with me or are considering it — you will already understand just how immersive these sessions are. Training with me is intentionally intensive.
Launching soon are exclusive online skill-builder sessions, designed to bridge the gap between qualification and mastery. These sessions will allow you to continue refining your craft, stay aligned with industry progression and gain access to the exact techniques, systems and standards I am using now — because exceptional work is built through ongoing, high-level education.
Why I Use CJP Nail Systems
While my training is skill-led and all beginners courses are system led, I choose to use CJP because it is a brand created by nail technicians, for nail technicians. My friend Jemma Porch and her team continually evolve their products, ensuring the tools we use are innovative, reliable, and aligned with professional standards.
Using CJP allows me to show students high-quality, consistent results in class while keeping the focus on technique, application, and system knowledge. By understanding the principles of nails and gels, students can confidently apply their skills across any professional brand, giving them independence, versatility, and the ability to excel in any salon environment.
Whether you train directly with me or through one of my selected educators, you will be learning from someone who actively works in salons, continuously refines her craft, and understands the demands of real-world nail services. My goal is for every student to leave with confidence, skill, and the ability to deliver salon-standard nails consistently.
I Hope to meet you one day and I can help elevate your passion and skills for nails!
Chrissie
